Our 18-member squad for the three-match Test series against Australia

Pakistan have announced their 18-member touring squad for the series against Australia starting December 14.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced its squad for the Test series against Australia on Monday, November 20, and Shan Masood will lead the side for the first time after taking over as captain from Babar Azam.

Left-arm opening batsman Saeem Ayub and right-arm fast bowler Khurram Shehzad have earned their maiden Test call-ups for the three-match series that will be played under the umbrella of the ongoing World Test Championship.

Ayub scored 553 runs and hit 3 centuries in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2023, which included three centuries. All-rounder Faheem Ashraf has returned to the Test field after a gap of almost a year. He last played in white for Pakistan in December 2022. Pacers Mir Hamza and Mohammad Wasim are the other players who also mark their comeback.
